E-Commerce Website Development in Pakistan

A store is not a catalogue with a basket attached. It is a buying journey, and in Pakistan that journey includes cash on delivery, WhatsApp confirmation and a courier API.

  • Shopify
  • WooCommerce
  • Cash on delivery
  • Courier integration
  • Local payments
Local reality

Pakistani e-commerce has its own physics

Most store-building advice is written for markets where everyone pays by card and returns are rare. Building here without adjusting for local behaviour produces a store that looks fine and performs badly.

What is different here

  • Cash on delivery is often the majority of orders, and it brings a fake-order rate that has to be designed against.
  • WhatsApp is a primary sales and confirmation channel, not an afterthought.
  • Courier choice and coverage varies by city and affects both cost and delivery promise.
  • Mobile data speeds mean page weight costs you real orders, not just a lab score.
  • Trust is a live objection: buyers want to see a real address, a real phone, and real reviews.

What we build around it

  • COD as a first-class payment method, with WhatsApp order confirmation to cut fake orders.
  • Local gateways alongside cards, because removing someone's payment method removes the customer.
  • Courier integration so tracking is automatic rather than copied by hand.
  • Aggressive performance discipline: image budgets, app audits and lean theme code.
  • Trust signals placed where the hesitation actually is — next to the buy button.
Platform choice

Shopify or WooCommerce?

We build both. Which one is right is decided by your catalogue, your margins and who maintains it after launch.

The build

What is included in a store build

  • Storefront design — home, collection, product, cart and checkout templates built for your catalogue rather than a demo one.
  • Product page structure — designed around the five questions that stop a purchase in your category.
  • Payments — card gateway, local options and cash on delivery configured and tested end to end.
  • Shipping and courier — rates, zones, and integration so tracking numbers flow automatically.
  • Post-purchase flows — confirmation, dispatch and delivery updates by email and WhatsApp.
  • Analytics and tracking — full purchase-funnel events so your ad reporting reflects reality.
  • SEO structure — collection and product schema, clean URLs, titles, and content that can rank.
  • Training — so your team can add products and run promotions without calling us.

The fastest win in most stores

Not a redesign. An audit of the apps running on every page. Most underperforming stores here are carrying six apps that each add script weight, two of which duplicate a feature the theme already has.

Removing them usually buys more conversion than a new homepage.

Questions

FAQs

How much does an e-commerce website cost in Pakistan?

A straightforward Shopify or WooCommerce store typically runs PKR 150k to 400k depending on catalogue size and integrations. Heavily customised stores with unusual requirements go beyond that. We quote a fixed price once the catalogue and payment requirements are clear.

Can you reduce our cash-on-delivery return rate?

Partly, and the mechanisms are known: WhatsApp order confirmation before dispatch, clearer delivery expectations on the product page, address validation, and flagging repeat refusers. It does not go to zero, but it moves meaningfully.

Do you handle product photography?

We art-direct and can arrange it in Lahore. For catalogues over a hundred products we usually set a repeatable shooting standard so your team can add products consistently afterwards.

Can you migrate our existing store?

Yes — products, customers, orders and, critically, URL redirects. A migration that drops old URLs drops the rankings attached to them, and that is the most common way a redesign loses traffic.

Will the store work well on slow connections?

It is a design constraint from the start: image budgets, lean theme code and a hard limit on third-party scripts. We test on mid-range Android over mobile data, not on office broadband.
