The channel people actually answer

WhatsApp Business API Integration in Pakistan

Your customers already message you on WhatsApp. The question is whether those conversations live in your business or on one employee's personal phone.

  • Business API
  • Automated replies
  • Order updates
  • CRM sync
  • Templates
The problem

The most important sales channel in the business is on someone's phone

In Pakistan, WhatsApp is frequently where the actual selling happens — and it is usually the least managed part of the operation.

One number, one handset, one person. When they are at lunch, messages wait. When they leave, the history leaves with them. Nobody can report on how many enquiries arrived, how fast they were answered, or how many turned into orders, because there is nothing to report on.

What the Business API changes

  • Multiple agents answer one business number, with conversations assigned and visible.
  • History belongs to the business, and survives staff changes.
  • Automated replies handle the common questions instantly, day or night.
  • Order, booking and delivery updates go out automatically from your systems.
  • Conversations sync to your CRM, so a WhatsApp enquiry is a lead like any other.
  • You get real numbers: volume, response time, resolution, conversion.

API vs the Business app

The free WhatsApp Business app is fine for a one-person operation. It does not support multiple agents properly, does not integrate with your systems, and cannot send templated notifications at volume.

The Business API is the version built for a business with more than one person answering.

What we build

Six things worth automating on WhatsApp

01

Instant acknowledgement

Every message gets an immediate, useful reply that confirms it arrived and sets an expectation. The cheapest trust you will ever buy.

02

FAQ deflection

Hours, location, price range, delivery time, availability. The questions that make up most of your inbound volume, answered without a person.

03

Order and delivery updates

Confirmed, dispatched, out for delivery, delivered — sent from your systems automatically. This alone removes a large share of support messages.

04

Booking confirmation and reminders

Appointment confirmed, reminder the day before, easy reschedule. The single most effective no-show reduction available to a clinic or salon.

05

Cash-on-delivery confirmation

Confirm the order over WhatsApp before dispatch. Fewer refused deliveries, less money burnt on courier returns.

06

Lead qualification and handover

A few structured questions, then routing to the right human with the context already gathered.

Setup

What the process involves

  1. Business verification

Meta requires a verified business with matching legal details. We prepare the documentation and manage the submission — this step is where most self-serve attempts stall.

  2. Number and provider setup

A dedicated business number on an approved Business Solution Provider. A number already on the consumer app has to be migrated properly, not just re-registered.

  3. Message templates

Notifications outside the 24-hour customer service window use pre-approved templates. We write them to pass review the first time, which saves days.

  4. Flows and automation

The reply logic, the FAQ answers, the routing rules, and the escalation path to a human — which matters more than the automation itself.

  5. CRM and systems integration

Conversations, contacts and outcomes wired into your CRM, store or booking system so WhatsApp is not a silo.

  6. Agent training and handover

Your team learns the shared inbox, the assignment rules and how to take over from a bot without the customer noticing a seam.

One rule worth taking seriously

WhatsApp is a permission channel, not a broadcast channel. Messaging people who did not opt in gets your number restricted, and a restricted number takes the sales channel with it.

Cost

How WhatsApp API pricing works

CostWhat it isRough scale
Meta conversation chargesBilled per conversation, priced by category (marketing, utility, authentication, service)Small per conversation; utility and service categories cost less than marketing
Provider platform feeMonthly fee for the Business Solution Provider running the connectionTypically a modest monthly subscription, varies by provider and volume
Setup and integrationOur work: verification, templates, flows, CRM integration, trainingOne-off project fee, quoted on scope
Ongoing changesNew flows, template updates, integration changes as you growSupport retainer, or ad hoc

Meta's own rates change periodically and vary by country and conversation category — we confirm current Pakistan pricing as part of the scope rather than quoting a number that will age badly.

Questions

FAQs

Can we keep our existing WhatsApp number?

Usually yes, but it has to be migrated off the consumer or Business app properly — you cannot run both on the same number. We handle the migration so history and continuity are managed.

Will customers know they are talking to a bot?

They should. We design automation that is upfront about being automated and hands over to a person quickly. Pretending to be human annoys people and rarely survives the second question.

Can we send promotional messages?

To customers who opted in, using approved marketing templates. Sending unsolicited promotions is the fastest route to a restricted number, and the restriction costs far more than the campaign earns.

Does this work with our CRM?

Yes. Conversations, contacts and outcomes sync to your CRM — ours or an existing one — so a WhatsApp enquiry is tracked like any other lead.

How long does setup take?

Two to four weeks in practice. Business verification with Meta is the variable, and it is largely out of our hands — though preparing the documents properly avoids the usual rejections.
